Bart Van Hove and Isil Sakraker, PhD students at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics have been awarded the first and the third place in the PhD category (Outstanding Student Oral Presentation) during the 10th International Planetary Probe Workshop, held in June 2013 in San Jose, USA.

Bart Van Hove was awarded the first prize for his paper entitled "Mars atmosphere Reconstruction using FADS on Exomars EDM" written with his co-author, Ozgur Karatekin.

Isil Sakraker was awarded the third prize for her paper entitled "Ground testing of In-flight Re-entry Experiments of Re-entry Cubesat Qarman" written with her co-authors, Roger Torras Nadal and Olivier Chazot.
