Christophe Semaille

On 17 April 2018, Christophe Semaille has joined the VKI management team as “Chief Project Management Officer”. Christophe will be leading the Project Management Office.

Hegraduated with an MSc in Electromechanical Engineering (mecatronics) from the Université catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve in 2002. He also holds an MSc in Management from the same university and a certificate in entrepreneurship from Solvay Business School in Brussels.

After his engineering studies, he worked for two years as research assistant in Montreal on the development of Matlab simulation tools (now on the market) for electrical systems. He then came back to Belgium and started a career in aerospace within companies such as SABCA, Altran, QinetiQ Space & Thales Alenia Space where he held various positions from technical manager to program manager and sales/business development manager on many different aerospace programs including the development of satellite and launcher electrical subsystems.

He recently took a sabbatical year off to take care of his three young sons and launch a start-up active in the beer brewing industry (now managed daily by his business partner).

He is delighted to join the VKI for a new exciting challenge where he will be in charge of all project management activities.
