Exciting News from the Safran Research and Technology Day 2024!

VKI has been honored with not one, but TWO prestigious prizes during this remarkable event.

Prize 1: The Investment Prize which was given to the partner who invested the most in the collaboration with Safran. VKI's team leadership and investment in the maturation of the MoU have played a pivotal role in strengthening the partnership with Safran. This award is a recognition to the hard work and strategic vision that drives VKI forward.

Prize 2: The Innovation Prize was given to Fabrizio Fontaneto and Xavier Ottavy (Ecole Centrale de Lyon / Laboratoire de Mecanique de Fluide) for the surpervision of the PhD Thesis of Goncalo Cruz. Where an innovative hybrid measurement technique was developed that allows to drastically reduce the number of experiments by leveraging standard instrumentation and advanced machine learning techniques.

Le VKI s'est vu décerner non pas un, mais DEUX prix prestigieux lors de cet événement remarquable.

Prix 1 : Le prix de l'investissement, qui est décerné au partenaire qui a le plus investi dans la collaboration avec Safran. Le leadership de l'équipe de VKI et son investissement dans la maturation du protocole d'accord ont joué un rôle essentiel dans le renforcement du partenariat avec Safran. Ce prix est une reconnaissance du travail acharné et de la vision stratégique qui font avancer le VKI.

Prix 2 : Le prix de l'innovation est décerné à Fabrizio Fontaneto et Xavier Ottavy (Ecole Centrale de Lyon / Laboratoire de Mécanique de Fluide) pour la supervision de la thèse de doctorat de Goncalo Cruz. Une technique de mesure hybride innovante a été développée, qui permet de réduire considérablement le nombre d'expériences en tirant parti d'une instrumentation standard et de techniques avancées d'apprentissage automatique.
