VKI and LMFA are awarded the Safran R&T Challenge prize 2019

VKI is proud to announce that Prof. Fontaneto was awarded the annual Safran R&T Challenge prize in collaboration with Prof. Ottavy from École Centrale Lyon-LMFA.

The prize was presented in occasion of the 2019 Safran R&T day. The VKI-LMFA team proposed a ground-braking statistical inference based experimental method for the performance characterization of the new generation low speed fans. A PhD project will be activated to support the development and validation of the technique over the next four years.
