VKI encounter USA
On May 5th, 2015, the von Karman Institute will welcome 72 engineering students and five professors from Georgia Institute of Technology.
The will visit the VKI most important facilities and wind tunnels: Low speed wind tunnel L1, Mach 2 supersonic transonic wind tunnel S1,
the annular cascade facility CT3, the plasmatron (plasma generator 1200 KW induction coupled), the Longshot (Mach 14 free piston hypersonic),
the Mach 6 hypersonic wind tunnel H3.
