Delphine Laboureur and Davide Masutti, Ph.D. students, has been attributed the 2012 Best PhD Presentation Prize awarded by the von Karman Institute's faculty during the third Symposium on Doctoral Research held in March 2012.
Delphine Laboureur was awarded for her work entitled "Experimental characterization and modeling of hazards, BLEVE and Boilover: Small scale Boilover experiments" and Davide Masutti for his work entitled "Natural and Induced Transition on a 7deg Half-Cone at Mach 6".
