The 31st Congress of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS 2018) took place ar Belo Horizonte in Brazil from 9 to 14 September 2018.
At this occasion, the 1st place ICAS John mcCarthy Student Award has been attributed to Fernando Miró Miró, PhD fellow at VKI, for his paper entitled "Ionization and dissociation effects on hypersonic boundary layer stability".
