EASED EM-EASED aims to bring Europe and the Far East (Japan, Korea) closer in the field of research and its management with a special emphasis on Energy. Positions for staff researcher, post-doctoral researcher, PhD researcher are opened at von Karman Institute for Asian researchers: : Engineering Science staff research, Engineering Science post-doctoral research, PhD: Blade Tip Timing/Clearance system based on Magnetoresistive sensors, Engineering Science doctoral research.

The 31^st meeting of the STO Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) was held at the Institute in Rhode St. Genèse, Belgium, on 5th and 6th December 2013.

The von Karman Institute proposes "early bird" registration is available for the lecture series.

The von Karman Institute opened the doors to the public for one day only on Sunday November 24, 2013. As the Open Day had been publicized in the media, more than 500 visitors took advantage of the opportunity to take a look inside the laboratories and world-unique facilities.
