The von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics has obtained the accreditation of the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO) for it research Master at master-after-master level. NVAO (in Dutch: Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie) is the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders. The organisation was established by international treaty and it ensures the quality of higher education in the Netherlands and Flanders. Accreditation is really a quality label, a formal recognition that is granted when the programme meets  requirements relating to scientific level and quality.
