INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Download the template for the PHYSMOD2009 workshop: template_physmod2009.zip. The template for the PHYSMOD2009 workshop is written in WORD. Please carefully follow the instructions in this document in order to give a unitary aspect to every paper.

Papers

Please upload the maximum 8 pages, black and white, WORD document of your paper on the PHYSMOD2009 website by 25 May 2009. This paper will be included in the hard-copy conference proceedings distributed at the workshop upon proof of registration.

Posters

The instructions for the poster are as follows:

• A1 landscape format
• printed and brought by you to the workshop. It will be thumb-tacked to a wooden panel at VKI.
• upload the poster in pdf-format on the conference website so that you can present it in the conference room in the 5 minutes time slot reserved for you in the programme.
• upload also the max. 8 pages paper to be included in the printed conference proceedings.

Upload of papers and posters

The paper submission system is closed. The A1 (594 x 840 mm)poster (PDF) should be submitted after the 16 May 2009. The deadline to submit the poster is 16 June 2009 via the via the same submission system.

Publications

All papers accepted for presentation will be incorporated in the conference proceedings, which will be available at the time of the workshop.
Important notice: Please note that, by submitting your full-length paper to the PHYSMOD 2009 workshop you implicitly give your permission to the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) to reproduce your full-length paper in the PHYSMOD2009 conference proceedings. However, this does not forfeit your right to publish your full-length paper or abstract in any other medium nor does VKI retain any exclusive rights over it.

Language

The conference will be conducted entirely in English.
