Joost Vandendries at VKI

Speed skiing goes straight downhill for 1km; the current world speed record is 254.958 km/h.

During the wind tunnel tests at the von Karman Institute, Joost Vandendries, a Belgian speed skier, found the best position for a minimum wind resistance, which will allow him to go faster.
