Software:

Development of the collaborative multiphysics software platform COOLFluiD since 2002, see https://github.com/andrealani/COOLFluiD/wiki. Apart from 12 PhD candidates at VKI, about 10 external partners collaborated in this software platform initiated and managed by VKI, working on different methods and applications: aerothermodynamics, aerodynamics, higher order schemes, space weather, ion transport in electrochemical reactors, conjugate heat transfer, aeroelasticity.
