Abstract: The quest for ever improving performances in every industrial domain requires the coupling of fluid dynamic analyses with other disciplines.  Stability and laminar-to-turbulent transition is a growing field where the coupling with other effects is still in its infancy. This is mainly due to the complexity of the equations involved in such analyses. Hence, the development of a computer aided generation of transition prediction tools is a new approach suitable for the proper treatment of advanced multi-physics problems.
